If P Then Q

An independent publisher of experimental poetry in multiple formats, based in Old Trafford, Manchester.

The editor is James Davies and has published poetry in a number of mediums in the past including magazines, books and downloads with an approach which typically embraces the more experimental. If P Then Q is closely associated with The Other Room poetry night in Manchester.

Published authors include Tom Jenks, Ceri Buck and Tony Trehy.

A number of projects have been developed by If P Then Q to encourage literary creativity, including work with Poet Stephen Emmerson (who also has his book Family Portraits published with If P Then Q) to create Poetry Wholes – templates which can be used to create instantaneous poetry in multiple styles. If P Then Q was featured at the ‘After The Reading and Being Read’ event at Manchester Central Library in 2016.
