Manchester’s leading academic bookstore– originally founded in 1879 by Benjamin Henry Blackwell in Oxford.
Opening times are 8.30am -6pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday.
Formerly based in the precinct on Oxford Road, the Manchester branch of Blackwell’s then moved to near the Arthur Lewis Building on the University of Manchester campus, Bridgeford Street.
A range of academic texts and textbooks are available, which can be browsed, ordered online and collected in store, or be delivered.
Manchester’s Blackwell’s also has second-hand titles available and a range of offers for students.
